Felix has been great lately. This past week, he had the kids the whole day everyday. And on Sunday I went to the US Open with my friend Beth so he had the kids again all day. So, on Monday morning, I woke the kids up early for a breakfast picnic at Bruce Park, and I gave Felix the morning off.
We had the whole park to ourselves for about an hour...it was nice.
There is this new area I haven't seen before....with "caves" and spiderwebs.

After they ate their yogurt and fruit, they were allowed to indulge in the strawberry frosted donuts I bought them at DD.
Afterwards, we stopped by church to take care of some business....they ran into Angel the cat.
And enjoyed some fun on the swing that magically just appeared on the front lawn of the church.
After all that we finished up the morning at Cherry Lawn Park in Darien.
The kids were beat and Lucas was actually asking for a nap by the time we got home. It was some nice quality time that I was happy for.
