At least part of every day was spent at the beach. And while we had a little trouble holding on to all our sand toys, the kids seemed to really like the beach.

A big favorite was playing by the water's edge. The twins really liked watching the waves crash in and the water come up. The waves weren't big at all. Lucas often liked to try and chase the water back out without realizing that another wave was on its way.

You can see the Sierra Madre mountains in the background. This was the backdrop to our vacation. It was beautiful.

One night we actually managed some nice pics after all that beach going.
