So I was informed that our Cabbage Patch Kid pal did indeed once belong to my niece and the dolls name was (is) officially Sha-nay-nay. Has quite a ring to it...
Anyway, we realized that in order to get the nursery ready (please no comments that it is not already ready) we had to get all non-nursery items out of the room, like car seats, pack and plays and yes, the bathtub. So I was reading on how to use this little tub, how to place it at the sink and how to use this "sling" thing they are talking about which is used for bathing much younger infants. Well, I put it all together, set it on top of the sink as they said and it didn't really look right...so in comes Sha-nay-nay. Once I had the doll in there, it looked much better. So I think we are all set with the tub now.
Just a side note..I was interested in seeing how much Sha-nay-nay wieghs so I placed her on our scale, which is digital, and it doesn't register a weight for her. Surely she is not weightless!! Who knows...
