A boy and his room

It was real hot today. So after Felix got back from work and the kids woke from their nap, we headed to the beach to enjoy the nice cool breeze. As hot as it was, the water is still cold. Lucas and I tried to go swimming, but we didn't get too far. It was so cold, Lucas needed the towel even though the temp was close to 90.

On a side note, Lucas' room is coming along. It's all painted and the border is starting to go up. This was taken at night with a random exposed light bulb in the room, so the colors look muted, but you get the idea. The border is super cute....bigger than I imagined (I ordered it online).
