For the past few years, downtown Stamford has had a tradition called Heights and Lights. Basically, once darkness falls, Santa and characters repel down Landmark Square, the tallest building in downtown. Here's the building in the daylight.
Its so hard to see here, but this is the Grinch repelling down after Mrs. Clause. Rudolph was there as well as Brian Cashman (general manager of the NY Yankees) and Bobby Valentine (former manager for the Boston Red Sox)
After wards there was fireworks and some music. A view of the crowd.
