Aside from the more serious service tonight for the adults, our church had a children's service today at 3. It really wasn't a service, but a storytelling. Not too sure taking pics in church is legit, but I figured since it was not a formal service it might be allowed.
The little chairs all set up for the washing of the feet...
Mother Cindy ran the service. She basically had a child's version of the stations, each station revealing something about the Easter story (and very little about the actual stations of the cross that deal with the events leading up to Jesus' death). At each station, the children got a token of some sort (candle, mirror, flower, palm cross) to put in their journey bag which was marked with footprints.
Liliana getting her feet washed.
The children talking about the story in the garden, which is what the chapel in our church is transformed into during Holy Week.
Lucas liked the "waterfall"
It was a really nice service and afterwards, on our walk home, we went the long way through the green and let the kids play at the gazebo.
