Sunday was Mass on the Grass at Christ Church in Greenwich. Connie and Wendy are still acolytes there and they were serving, so we all went down. It was a little cool...but the weather turned out to be just right.
At the announcements, Greg presented all the acolytes with a token of appreciation and then announced (as they do every year) the winners of the service award. Connie and Wendy both won the award...they didn't know it was coming (we did though). They were SO excited as these pictures show...it was really sweet.
Afterwards there was a nice BBQ and a chance to run around and play some frisbee. It was a great morning and very nice to be there to share in Connie and Wendy's big day.
