Yo Gabba Gabba!

Yo Gabba Gabba! is a show that the twins like to watch.  It's a little strange, but a big hit with youngsters.  The local Toys R Us had a grand (re)opening and so they had a charachter (namely Foofa) at the store today.  It was only from 2-4 today and 10-2 tomorrow.  Although I was tired after work I knew Saturday would be a zoo, so off we went.  Lucas was willing as ever to pose....

Liliana of course, was still hesistant.

They took a quick car ride after visiting with Foofa.

Garage Art

Felix recently created this wall for the kids to draw on in the garage.  He went to Home Depot and bought "white board paint" which turns any surface into a white board that is dry-erase.  He even went to the educational store and bought a cute border and nailed it around the painting area so the the twins know where it is and is not acceptable to draw.

We quickly realized that dry-erase marker does not come out of clothing easily, so we now have these smocks that the kids wear when they want to draw (thank you Christina).

Aquarium

We recently bought a membership for the aquarium.  It was a Groupon for more than 50% off...so we jumped at it.  It was beautiful again today, so off we went after lunch and naps.

The seal tank is now outside (due to some renovation)

Thank you October for one more beautiful day
that almost felt like summer,
where our kids could run in the water,
have dinner on the beach and
play at the park while the moon was rising.

(these photos were taken with my new phone...trying to figure out how good of quality they are)

Party next door

Our neighbors next door had an "End of Summer BBQ" today.  It was postponed two weekends in a row due to inclement weather, but today was beautiful and off we went!

This is a pic of Lucas, Felix and Cecilia, the nanny of Lucas and Josephine.....our neighbors.

There was a small dance party to some Madonna music...hmmm....

 Saying goodbye on the driveway...

Walking home with Papi...I can't carry anyone these days, so he carried both of them...

My how we have grown!

Last weekend, while I was recovering at home, we were visited by old high school friends.  Julie, Aiko, Kelly and Nana stopped by to hang out a little.  Most everyone went to Silverman's Farm to pick apples first (Aiko and I hung back with baby Emme).  Felix took these pics at the farm.

The Seltzer boys and our kids...it's so weird how we are all grown with kids now....hmmmm...

Lucas with the apple picking gang....

Careful now...easy does it...

Baby Vincent and Julian....

Afterwards it was pizza and drinks back at our house..

Thanks to everyone who came by to visit and special thanks to Nana who came and helped out (so I didn't have to get up at all.)

Hospital cont...

The nice thing about staying on the pediatric floor is that the kids got toys and gifts that I guess they give to the patients there.  They each got a pinwheel and a teddy bear!

The day I got home, Cindy, from church brough over a great dinner consisting of all this!  How wonderful!
