Green Room...

We went to Green Moon yesterday. It was an art playdate sponsored by the twins group we belong to. They had great stations for the kids to work at. What was fun was that they encouraged the kids to get as messy as possible. Everything was washable which was great. It is rare that you can have a room full of toddlers and have that type of freedom.

Making bead necklaces...

this was the shaving cream table...each kid got a mound of shaving cream and could "decorate" it and then play in the shaving cream...

I liked this the best. The kids put dye on to paper in a salad spinner and then they spun it and created a cool design...who knew?

Painting with marbles...

the mural wall which was a big hit with L and L

Pump It Up

Last night Pump It Up was having what they call an "open bounce" . It was a fundraiser for Autism Speaks and with a donation you were able to come and play from 6-9. We got there early, and got out before it got real crazy.

Liliana and I at the bottom of the VERY big slide.

Lucas, brave little guy, going down the slide solo. (I was a little surprised, but he was fearless)

Piece of cake!

Compo Beach

Recently, we went to Compo Beach in neighboring Westport. They have an amazing playground right on the beach.

We ran into our other "twin" neighbors, Lucas and Josephine while we were there. So we joined them to partake in our favorite activity, tossing rocks in the water.

Elmo comes to town!

On Sunday we went to see Sesame Street Live at Harbor Yard Arena.

We bought the twins these Elmo pennants. A huge hit!

We had a little parade of sorts as we made our way to our seats...

It was so sweet to watch them. Very cute..

Wellfest.

Norwalk had its Wellfest today. It is a informational fair of sorts mostly geared towards parents of younger children. There were tables about pediatric dentistry, what to look for in a preschool, getting your child ready for school, etc. They also gave each child 3 "book bucks" that they could turn in for free new books at the end. We also got a lot of free samples (new Dora and Diego toothbrushes!)

The fire department was there, so they each got a hat.

At the Children's Museum table, talking to the puppet. They each got to take a plastic ball, yet somehow four ended up in our living room.

There was a story corner, not too sure what Lucas is doing here...Zorro impression maybe?

We went back outside to look at the fire truck, but it was gone. They had this mascot instead. He moved, spoke, drove his engine around and shot water. Probably a bigger hit than the truck would have been.

Family.

Felix's uncle's brother arrived from Cuba this week. So the family all met up at Felix's aunt's house on Thursday night to visit.

Lucas sitting with the men and getting an early exposure to what will be an obligatory love of dominoes.

When the serious game is over, Camilla and Lucas can play...

Felix got these big balloons for my birthday..of course we have two. Twins seem to like them...Lucas even loaded the weight of one into the back of his car while he was driving around.

Happy Birthday Mami!

Well, yes, my 35th year came around. The twins are old enough to be excited about birthdays (note the FIESTA sign still hanging from THEIR birthday!) We celebrated last night since Monday nights are a bit hectic with our schedules.

Spaghetti and meatballs were on the menu..and of course, Carvel ice cream cake! I think it is obvious who enjoyed the cake the most!

Fashion Show.

Yesterday was the Mother of Multiples Spring tag sale. I got most of what the twins need for the warm weather. When they woke up from their naps, I let them try on some things. They are somewhat in the middle of 2T and 3T so I wanted to see what actually fit. Liliana was all about trying on her clothes...especially beach clothes.

Lucas sported one of the shirts I bought him, but other than that, he really wasn't too into it.

More swim wear. The water shoes are a little big, but she loved them regardless. Even wore them through the evening with her pjs.
