Warm day in November....

Today the weather was unsually warm and since I am all caught up at school, I left as soon as class was out and picked up the kids early to take them to the beach.

And then it was time for some fun on the swings before we headed home!

Bye bye baby seats...

We just bought big kid car seats for the twins. Thought it would be fun to take a look back...goodbye Graco seats..you have been good to us...


Late February...going to the doctor...


Early May...on a day out with mom to Babies r Us.



On our summer roadtrip (July) the morning we were heading into Nashville.



A few weeks ago....

And now the big seats! We took them to Babies R Us to try them in the different seats...the twins were sort of on display in the store. We found out which ones we liked and then came home and ordered them online in the colors we wanted. How quickly they grow!

Nap Time...

Today the kids were more about playing than about napping. Liliana has taken to pulling on her mobile...its one of her favorite games.

Unfortunately, because of this, we took the mobile down right after the picture was taken. More of a hazard at this point.

Lucas was all smiles, didn't feel much like sleeping either...

They have started moving to the sides of the cribs where they can see each other and babble to each other...I tried to sneak this one by cracking open the door, but Liliana caught me.

But eventually, out they went...and for a good two hours....such good babies!

This morning was a bit more laid back since Felix and I both had Staff Development at our schools due to Election Day. Here the twins are all packed up and ready to go to Andrea's..I think Liliana thinks she is still in her crib.



Felix worked late tonight and so it was me and the twins until dinner time. Lucas needed a change of clothes and since Liliana is crawling everywhere these days I didn't feel comfortable leaving her downstairs and taking Lucas upstairs to get clothes. So instead I grabbed whatever was available which was some old pajama bottoms and one of Liliana's pink sweatshirts. First time they were both in pink...such twins...they even chew on their fingers the same!



After dinner having their playtime while I cooked dinner...



The twins have started to find creative ways to hold their bottles...as if it is such a chore to begin with. Liliana likes to prop it up on the side of the bouncy chair as illustrated below...

Baptism Day!

Today was the twins' baptism..most of you who follow this were here for their big day, but we did have some friends and family who could not make it..so here are the pics.

And after all the people had left...here they were happy as can be...just playing around.

To all our friends and family who made it today..thank you. The day is always more special when you can celebrate with those closest to you. For those who could not make it...we missed you. A special shot out to Jen, who was on picture duty all throughout the baptism and without whom, we would have no pictures of our children's big day. Thanks Jen!

Trick or Treat Take 2

Today was the official day and so we took the twins out trick or treating. Jen is in town for the twins' baptism. Here she is helping Liliana into her costume.
