Today we went to a twin birthday party for Mark and Derek, our neighbors up the street (just in case you are wondering, there are 4 sets of twins in our neighborhood-including us)
Mark and Derek are two, just a few months behind Lucas and Liliana.
Mark and Derek had these motorized ride on toys....a HUGE hit with our kids.
We feel lucky to live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of kids and friendly neighbors. This afternoon, we just hung out on the driveway and played and our neighbors came by and hung out with us.
This is Lucas and Liliana with Lucas and Josephine, our neighbors three houses over. They were all at the museum together. Our sets of twins are three months apart, no doubt they will be spending a lot of time together.
We went to a birthday party on Saturday for Taiga (the son of my friend Mike). The movie was Rio and it was a good test to see if the twins are "movie ready". They lasted forty minutes, and therefore, not ready...but it was a great morning, topped off by a fabulous lunch at Friendly's with Aiko and Ko.
We were in Walmart the other day and all their Easter stuff was on sale for less than a dollar. They had these jump ropes for sale and so we got the twins each one. I don't think they realize that they are supposed to jump OVER the rope....in time.
After picking out our azaleas last weekend, Felix and I planted them before lunch. The twins were out playing and they made a game out of picking all the dandelions and putting them in a sand pail.
Each spring when Stew's brings their animals back they have a little celebration. We went on Saturday and they even let the kids in the pens with the animals..closely supervised of course.
They gave away these free animal hats...real cute.
Well at least one of them is happy.
That's better.
Looking at the baby animals.
Meeting the animal characters.
They twins then came with us as we picked out new azaela bushes....
