Ok, so they are not four years old yet, but due to a great deal I got, we had to take the yearly pics early. They came out pretty well. Most of them are here, but we are saving the best for the Christmas card. Enjoy!

Target Fans....
These two LOVE Target...not too sure why, but they do. We were at the Trumbull Mall the other day picking up our annual pics (stay tuned!) and they were fascinated with the large Target logo there. I can only imagine how large this seems to them.

Grandpa's
I often visit my father and the twins are almost always in tow. They are like celebrities at Brookdale. They are most definitely the only young children who visit and they are there at least once a week. The director of the facility, Wendy, has a dog named Lucy that is usually walking around when we arrive. The other day, she followed us all the way up to Grandpa's room and hung out on his bed with the twins.
Even Grandpa got a kick out of it.

Birthday Weekend Part Two
Sunday was Felix's birthday, and we went over to the Gomez household since David's birthday was on Friday night. What better way to celebrate two Gomez birthdays than with two sets of Gomez twins!
The twins were so excited they could barely contain themselves.
Cake time!

Birthday Weekend Part One...
The weekend started off with a party at our twin neighbor's house. Lucas and Josephine were turning four. They have a huge back yard...perfect for a pirate bouncy house!
This was just the start to some more birthday fun had later in the week....stay tuned.

School Pics...
The kids first ever school pics arrived home today. Liliana had a bruise on her forehead from doing a faceplant a few days before, and she is "kind of" smiling...but they are cute pics nonetheless.

Pirate Swords!
I am thinking about a Princess and Pirate Party for the twins party this year. So, I have researching some easy crafts that we could possibly do at the party. I made these swords the other day for the twins. They were super easy (made out of newspaper) , quite soft but durable, and the red white and blue part was a cardboard cutout from the Pepsi 12-pack box we had lying around.
This kept them entertained for over an hour.
We also celebrated our swords with the first fire of the season. Nice!

Gifts from Japan...
During one of her recent visits, Nana gave the twins some gifts from her most recent trip to Japan.
Cool Japanese doll pens!
And these great matching t-shirts from Mt. Fuji.
Thanks Nana!

Nickelodeon Day of Play
I rarely go to the children's museum on the weekends. We live so close and have a membership, so I prefer to go late in the day during the week when no one is there. But this Saturday, they were hosting Nickelodeon's day of play, so I took the kids for an hour or so.
We put together a nice large puzzle...
met a HUGE italian ice...
and got to play some croquet....nice!

Locked out of Lanterns
We recently planned on going to the Norwalk Library to participate in a Chinese lantern making activity. However, when we arrived, we found out that it was a registration only event. I am usually good at registering for these types of activities, but I guess I dropped the ball on this one. The kids, surprisingly, we VERY disappointed. So when we got home, we looked online about how to make lanterns at home. They were actually quite simple.
Here are our final products....
We even made one to attach to a present we were bringing to Keaton's birthday party...so much more practical than a card from toddlers.
We even strung some of them together and hung them near the dining table.

Public Works Open House
Last weekend, Norwalk Department of Public Works had an open house. Basically they opened the whole plant up and the kids got to climb on all trucks, snow plows, salter machines, etc. There was a worker at each vehicle telling the people all about them.
Even with a hard hat, she finds a way to pose.
These were some big trucks!
Talking to Sparky the fire dog.
