Birthday take 2

Today was a regular work day for Felix and I obviously.  But we made some extra time in the evening for twins and took them out to eat at Bertucci's.

Even got an ice cream each with a candle, and just like on Saturday, we sang to one at a time (I am liking that a lot)

Afterwards it was home to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (a huge favorite even out of the holiday season)  They arranged these chairs themselves movie theatre style for the big show.

Party Day!

Don't know how well you can see these pants, but they were given to us by Marika (previously Charlotte's)  They are very 70's-ish.  Like something I might have worn to school when in the first grade.

It was beautiful yesterday so we went off to Compo Beach to play.

Afterwards we headed to Carvel to pick out the designs for their birthday cakes (Cinderella and Thomas the Train....suprise, surprise)

Year of the Dragon

Yesterday was the Chinese New Year (I think that's right).  The Rowayton Library had a dragon arts crafts afternoon to celebrate so off we went.

Afterwards we spent some time in the children's area...Lucas and Felix even found a book on Thomas!

Snow!

Well I guess it already snowed this season...if October counts.  But this weekend was the real first snow of winter.  Kids woke up with a whole bunch of excitement.

In the afternoon we went to Beauty and the Beast at the movies and then went sledding down some real big hills into the early evening.

Trains...

Anyone who has been to our house lately has seen how the playroom has been taken over by Thomas and his friends.  The trains have been more of a hit than the train table itself.  Lucas seems to like to build very extrensive tracks on the whole entire floor.  Every once in while Liliana joins in the fun.  This time it was with the Rosie train...and testing a new track which involved a bridge.
