Aiko, Steve, Ko, Rei and Emme came up for dinner last night. It was great to catch up. Liliana was all about Emme...and she even got a chance to hold her! The boys? Well they played with their trains.

busy, busy, busy....
Yesterday morning, we were off to play soccer. The Mothers of Multiples Club that I belong to had a toddler soccer "clinic". We did this last year. It's a great way to get the kids out and running even when it is cold outside. Here are some pics followed by some video of the day.
Then, after a long nap, it was off to Long Island to see Josh and Marika (and Charlotte, Roland and baby Tristan)
A wonderful playroom.
The kids had their own table for dinner.
Cheesecake for dessert...yum!

Good eaters.
Tonight we had salad for dinner. We added ham and chicken but the main course was still salad. The twins were great and ate it all up. I had told them that we could have ice cream that night but then realized that I had finished it off the night before. So after they cleaned their plates so impressively, we went off to Burger King to get some sundaes.
They have an indoor play area, which they had fun in.
And then the sundaes...
Every kid gets a crown at BK...who knew?
Trains.
The Fairfield Museum has a wonderful train exhibit this month. We headed off early yesterday morning. We got there five minutes before it opened. The head of the train exhibit saw Lucas in his train hat and let us come in early, and even let Lucas press all the buttons that got all the trains running.
Aside from model trains, they had a Thomas and Percy train from Thomas the Train. Lucas stood at this corner to watch Thomas come around time and time again.
The exhibit was really impressive.
Liliana is on Thomas watch.
Eventually, Liliana grew bored of all the trains and ventured out to find the dresses on display (some theatre costume exhibit)
Train story time....
Liliana just waiting outside. So funny.

IMAX
As part of our membership to the aquarium, we received tickets to the IMAX films there. There are only two movies that we can use our tickets on...the non-hollywood ones that are more educational and last about 40 minutes. The first one we saw was about baby monkeys and elephants being rescued. We saw that one about two weeks ago. Yesterday we went to see the one about coral reefs and how to protect them.
Afterwards, since we have a membership anyway, we decided to walk through the tunnel to the aquarium.
They just love the touch tank.
It was pretty crazy there....since all kids were on break. We usually go on the weekday around 4 and we basically have the whole thing to ourselves. Given that, we are a bit spoiled and are not used to all the crowds and having to share the views with other people. So we didn't stay long. However, we were there just long enough to see Santa in the shark tank! Pretty cool!

Christmas Morning 2011
After going to a beautiful midnight mass service, we all slept in a bit and got to presents around 9. Actually had to wake the kids up (even though they did not attend mass).
The train table was a HUGE hit as expected.
Wendy and her iPod shuffle.
Liliana was just as interested in other's gifts as she was in hers.
A Thomas hat....
Liliana letting Papi put her "princess earrings" on.
Trying to get through it all...
Aba and Connie with the hat and scarf Aba got for her.
Watching the Disney Christmas parade while breakfast is being made.
(Lucas is still playing at the train table)
New pjs!
Dig the hair!
Liliana all decked out in her pricess gear.
Even down to shoes!
Hoping everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
