Big balloons

Felix got these big balloons for my birthday..of course we have two. Twins seem to like them...Lucas even loaded the weight of one into the back of his car while he was driving around.

Happy Birthday Mami!

Well, yes, my 35th year came around. The twins are old enough to be excited about birthdays (note the FIESTA sign still hanging from THEIR birthday!) We celebrated last night since Monday nights are a bit hectic with our schedules.

Spaghetti and meatballs were on the menu..and of course, Carvel ice cream cake! I think it is obvious who enjoyed the cake the most!

Fashion Show.

Yesterday was the Mother of Multiples Spring tag sale. I got most of what the twins need for the warm weather. When they woke up from their naps, I let them try on some things. They are somewhat in the middle of 2T and 3T so I wanted to see what actually fit. Liliana was all about trying on her clothes...especially beach clothes.

Lucas sported one of the shirts I bought him, but other than that, he really wasn't too into it.

More swim wear. The water shoes are a little big, but she loved them regardless. Even wore them through the evening with her pjs.

twins turn two!

Well, yes, we all know they turned two. Here are some pics from their two year photos. These are scans of the originals, so there are some smudges since I guess the glass on our scanner wasn't totally clean. The originals are a little better.

This image was photoshopped since Lucas refused to be with Liliana in a picture. (Which also explains why his head is almost cut off)

Twin Happy Hour

Tonight our friends Giovanna and David (also last name Gomez believe or not) came by for a pizza dinner with their twins Alessandro and Malena, who are a year old.

Liliana and Alessandro....

The two sets of twins!

Lucas and Liliana felt the need to watch their "Diego"show in the (other) twins' stroller.

Felix in charge of two two year olds and two one year olds....quite a handful...

Pizza!

Despite the amazingly crummy weather today, we went down to Whole Foods in Darien. They were having a free pizza making workshop for toddlers 2-4. The weather was bad, but the kids LOVE pizza and we thought it would be fun to let them make their own pizza. Felix drove up and met us after work.

Walking in hand in hand to the store...

The calm before the storm. They didn't put a limit on the number of kids, so there were a TON of kids there. I got there early (of course)

My friend Jen met us there with her two girls Ella and Sofia. We were able to score this kiddie table.

Toppings!

It took quite a while for the store to cook the pizzas (there was some type of malfunction). We got a bunch of freebies since we had to wait so long. Kids had a great time! I like these workshops!

Music Class...

Mother's of Multiples organized a group music class today and Christina and I took the kids. There were about 10-12 sets of twins and triplets..most of whom were identical. The kids had a great time.

Puppies!

Our nanny Christina has a dog who just had five puppies. So she brought the twins over the other day to visit with the puppies. You can imagine how amazing it was for them!

I think they might have been a bit rough with them-look how Liliana is pulling that tail!

Then it was off to the museum playground for more park fun.

Thanks Christina for taking such great pics!

What weather!

Well, anyone in the northeast knows how wonderful it has been these past few days. Felix was working late the other night so off to the park we went. We stayed until 5:45 (thank you daylight savings time!

The twins no longer want to stay on the toddler playground so off to the big kid playground we went. They LOVED this huge slide..made me a bit nervous, but they were fine.

Then we went to see the geese.

Back to the playground for some serious sliding...

We topped off the night with a trip to Wendy's where they received a board book as their toy and were VERY excited.

Stayed tuned for puppy pics! (no, not ours....ha ha)
