Soccer!

The twins group that we belong to had a soccer "clinic" for any and all kids on holiday break. There were two classes, one for little ones and one for older twins. There was a good turn out and the kids had a great chance to run some energy out of them....take a peak...

please note: it seems as if there is an error in viewing this...if you are on FB, you can see it there...otherwise, I will try and check back later and see if I can fix this.

Christmas Day

We had a nice calm Christmas morning since the kids are still a bit too young to understand what it is all about. They enjoyed their new toys though that's for sure. Mom and girls came over for dinner later on. Here are some highlights....

Christmas Eve

As is usually the tradition, we spent Christmas Eve with Felix's family. Felix's Aunt Ana Elia had everyone over this year (that's her far left in the pink shirt). It was a nice night...here are some highlights.

Setti's Christmas Village

I ran into an old colleague of mine the other night. As we were talking, she mentioned that there was an amazing light display just around the corner from us. The Setti family put this light diplay up every year. Its so busy that starting at Thanksgiving, they have to make their road one way due to all the cars. So we decided to check it out. What was nice about this is that you actually get to get out of your car and walk around the property. It was pretty cool.

They had a ton of these little houses that the twins loved sitting in.

This is their actual house.

Gingerbread land...there were different themes around the property, Disney, Harry Potter, etc.

This one had all dogs in it...I think that is a dog house that Lucas is standing in front of.

It was a cold night so we didn't stay too long. Perhaps next week when it is a bit warmer, or at least a little less windy, we will go back for a longer visit. So nice that it is so close. Thanks Pat for filling us in!

Getting ready for church...

Trying on some of their "Christmas"outfits for church. Lucas also has a red Christmas sweater, but we thought we would save it for next week..Liliana had this and another dress, but I think this one fits her better. (They actually wore these to church this week...we didn't just play dress up..just in case you are wondering.)

not too sure what makes either one of them think that they can fit in there at all....but still its a coveted position these days...

counting with Santa...

The kids are all into spotting Santa these days..although they are not too keen about getting to close to him in real life. Anyway, Felix found this great video where you can count with Santa...I think you count the gifts he takes out of his bag. Big hit with us.....

Scooter ride anyone?

We just brought out these scooters...one was a hand me down from Felix's cousins girls....and one was a second hand one thanks to my twins club. Its cold out...the kids are a little sick, so going out is not super great right now. So we brought the fun to them and gave them scooter rides around the house...

Later tonight, Liliana started figuring it out all on her own and started "scooting" down the hallway into the kitchen!

Activity Day!

The twins had quite a day out today.

Christina first took them out for breakfast...

Then they were off to the library for a gingerbread man decorating activity. It was only for 2 year olds, and so off they went! Sometimes I see them playing like this and it makes me so happy that they have each other....

Ready for the gingerbread men!

Lucas carefully crafting his creation...

And sampling it....

The final product! Masterpieces!
Then it was off to the museum for some fun...

Not too sure what this is about, but they have a great new dress up area in the toddler terrain area....she sure seems to enjoy it!

Thanks Christina for taking the camera along and getting it all!

Mac and Beans

The new favorite in our house is mac and cheese with black beans. Christina usually makes them a whole container and it can vanish in as quick as a weekend. Doesn't look too appealing on the plate, but they LOVE it and devour every bite!

The tree is up!

Last year the twins were afraid of the tree. This year, their interest is peaked. Decorating was very intriguing for them; they particularly liked playing with the set of defunct lights we had...great toy..maybe I should wrap that up and give it to them for Christmas.

Despite our barrier, it only took moments for the first ornament to fall....

They spent a long time looking at it and taking it all in....

At the drive in

A new type of home theater experience...
