This weekend we went to visit Josh and Marika (Liliana's godparents). They just moved into a new home and so we went down to see them and their new abode. They had this great little playroom and Lucas and Liliana had a great time.
This is Liliana with their son Roland..who is nine months old.

Lucas is in the newspaper...
Yesterday, Naramake Elementary, the local elementary school had a tag sale. We went up to see what they were selling. There were plenty of toys and Lucas and Liliana took turns riding on this rocking blue plastic dog. Well, a woman from the newspaper was there and asked if she could take pictures of them. Lucas' picture made it in to the paper, and we saw it this morning..take a look. Would it be over the top if I laminated and framed it? LOL! (You know I will!)
p.s. you get a good view of Liliana's backside in the pic..she is busy digging into some other box of toys.

Self imposed time out...
Lucas got upset the other night because I took the remote control away from him...an ongoing battle with these two. Anyway, he got so upset, he decided to go sit in the corner (on the side of the toy shelves) and pout and cry it out...I didn't put him there..he was just determined to go and cry on his own...sort of like a self imposed time out. Interesting....

What a Day!
The weather continues to be gorgeous, and I continue to have no school, so we met Nana for lunch today and went to Bruce Park for the afternoon.
Liliana was all sorts of curious...
Unfortunately, she stumbled on the slide and hit her head and got a bloody nose. So we took her to the doctor just to make sure she was ok (last time we thought she was ok, she had a broken leg for a week) We got the all clear from the doc...nothing major.
Here she is on the doctor's table...

A Lazy Day at Home...
For those of you who do not live in the Northeast, we had a very bad storm this weekend. Trees came crashing down all around and as a result, by Sunday night, not many roads were passable in Farifield County so many districts cancelled school. I decided to keep the twins home (Andrea-their sitter does not have power-but we do) So here are a few pics from our lazy day together.

More beach pics...
Ok, these actually WERE taken today. It was over 60 degrees here so I took the kids to the playground. It was their first real interaction with sand and they didn't like it too much...didn't want to put their hands in it at all.
While it was warm, it was breezy at the beach, so I had the hats on the kids...they kept turning so I all I kept getting was hat!
More hats...
A little peek of a face...you can see Lucas taking special care not to touch the sand.

A bug in the house...
Nothing much fun is going on here these days. The kids have some sort of stomach bug. As messy as it may be, it seems to be moving quickly and the kids are on the mend. So no new pics, but I found this video from the last snow storm..it's Liliana and Felix checking out the snow together.

Fly away!
Today, the twins had quite the incident at Andrea's. Liliana actually vomited all over herself AND Lucas. Lucas had run out of extra clothes, so Andrea was nice enough to lend us a shirt that belonged to her son Michael. Michael is much older and so his shirt was quite big on Lucas. We tried to keep rolling the sleeves up but they kept falling down. Lucas found the shirt quite entertaining and treated the sleeves almost like wings..check it out.
