Although we have no pictures of them (sorry..) we spent a nice Saturday morning with the Seltzer-Nose clan. Aiko and her family came up from Brooklyn and spent the morning with us at the Children't museum and then stayed for lunch. You would think the twins would be tired of the museum at this point..we have a membership so they go quite often, but no..they love it.

Swimming part One
The hotel had a nice indoor pool and since we were one of very few guests, we mostly had it to ourselves. Occasionally, someone would come in to use the hot tub, but we had the pool to ourselves.
Here Liliana is in the float boat, I guess you could call it...great water seat for babies!
And here is Felix trying to endure Lucas' endless splashing...he loved the water..very different from this summer.

Andalo's Clubhouse..
We had planned to go to the Virginia Children's Museum...but like almost everything else, it was under construction on the off season. However, while the construction was going on, they had Andalo's Clubhouse open. There wasn't too much for older kids, but for toddlers it was great...very similar to Stepping Stones in Norwalk. We brought the kids over after breakfast and let them play and get a lot of energy out. They seemed to really like it.

We arrived on Monday morning and upon checking in to the hotel, discovered that BOTH of the indoor pools were closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, our reservation was non-refundable and non-transferable. But, with kids in our arms, we politely pleaded our case and the folks at the hotel transferred us down the boardwalk to another Holiday Inn that had a pool. We went and met Pat and the girls for brunch and then went to the mall to pass some time before the room was ready.
Here the kids are playing on these kiddie rides that move. Since they are still small, we opted not to turn on the rides. They had fun anyway...
And the mall had a carousel...Lucas enjoyed it a lot more this time.
Finally, into our room...

On the Road Again...
Well reminiscent of this summer, we packed the car once again and headed out on the road. We opted not to rent an SUV and to our amazent, we were able to fit all of the following in my little Subaru Hatchback..
two car seats (obviously)
two car seats (obviously)
one bag for Felix, one for me and one for the twins
two pack and play cribs
two portable high chair/booster seats
three day bags (one for Felix and I, two for the kids)
two blankets, two quilts, and one pool flotation toy
And we could STILL see out of the back.
Here the twins are after lunch as we leave Norwalk. Our camera is acting weird...close up shots are fine, but the wider shots are a little blurry...you will notice this in a few shots from the trip.
Since we didn't leave until 1 pm we decided to break up the trip and we stayed a night on the road in Salisbury MD. Here the twins are out of the car from the long drive, changed, and enjoying their dinner in their chairs.
